And You Go Back Jack And Do It Again, AA

Let's do it again and again...American Apparel hits the spot...I don't think this love affair will ever end. I am sure it is only a matter of days before the streets of Collegetown are filled with coeds sporting this new (and most certainly viral) AA Sweetheart Two-Toned Mini Dress much like its predecessor (although it's still surprisingly rampant). Here's to hoping AA starts producing it in more color options.

Let Me See Your Body Talk: GIRL TALK

I danced last Sunday (April 5) night away with the GZA and Girl Talk at Barton Hall in Ithaca, NY.  Fantastic show.  Beyond words.  I was so swept away that I completely forgot to take pictures at the actual concert.  I have lots from the pre-game and after-party but none of the actual show so I had to borrow this one from a friend.  Tickets to Girl Talk are usually dirt cheap (in the $10-$15 range) and are absolutely positively worth it.  Check his upcoming tour dates on MySpace so you don't miss a beat!

I adored these pink studded booties (right) when Christian Louboutin released them back in Fall 2007 and am just as excited now to see a Sartorialist subject still sporting them in Spring 2009!

Zipped Down, KateCusack

I am not sure how these would actually look on a wrist but I still love the idea of zipper cuffs.
I also briefly looked through Kate Cusack's website which lead me to these fantastic (and familiar) creations:

I had completely forgotten about these plastic-wrap Marie-Antoinette-style wigs. Cusack designed these for Tiffany's 2002 Mother's Day Window in New York.

Felt Geodes

I cannot recall how I stumbled across this photo on Flickr but I am so glad I did.  These are handmade felted wool balls that were cut in half in order to reveal some seriously fabulous color combinations.

Fall 09 ShoeLove at Chloe

I am not one for ankle-length pants, whether hemmed or just temporarily rolled up, because of their unfortunate shrinking illusions causing the wearers to appear 3-4 inches shorter.  That said, if i had fabulous shoes like these from Chloe's Fall 2009 Collection, I might be an easy convert.

Tin Can EnLightenment, Green Dragon Cafe

This is one of my all-time favorite light fixtures.  I snapped these pictures real quick the other day and completely forgot to take some reference shots, if not just to give you all some idea of the light's magnitude and its effect on the atmosphere of the space.  Oops.  Maybe next time I will not be in such a rush.  This light is located in the Green Dragon Cafe in the basement of Sibley Hall, home to the School of Architecture, Art & Planning at Cornell University.  Also, if I remember correct, this light was the product of an AAP Graduate Student's Final Design.
